abst r act beijing is a city with shortage of water. storm water utilization is one way to solve this problem, and it also can alleviate the press of flood prevention. the beiyun river is the only river that has water flow all year in beijing, but an amount of storm water was not utilized in this river. in this paper, how to effectively utilize the storm water and make good water environment in prior of the flood controlling was discussed.
